I've been busy playing games after i finally quit my job. I felt a bit inspired to blog about this after some events that happened a couple days ago. If you've been following my blog over the last two months you will have seen my post about the photo shoot i did in assisting a friend. What i found two days ago was that the photos I uploaded on to dropbox for her to send to the modelling agency were all deleted two days after i uploaded the 9 other photos.

I find it upsetting that someone i took my time to help, would purposely delete pictures off of a folder that did not belong to them, and especially deny it after and barely credit me for the work I did for her. And yes luckily for me I have recovered the files and discovered she deleted all of them and confronted her, and she says it was her mistake. You can either delete each of the photos one by one or you will go out of your way to Ctrl/Command+A to delete them. If it was a mistake the whole folder would not be empty. It isn't that she forgot that is the problem it is the fact she did it with intent to remove all the photos. (rant--)

I also have to mention, not only did I edit her photos, I supplied the whole studio; in which she did not even ASK me first for what day I am free before booking her model, that is 1. unprofessional regardless of being acquaintances 2. rude because I have my own schedule as well and 3. inconsiderate. I happened to have work from 5PM - 12AM that same day and I had to wake up at 9AM for the shoot and rush through it and get ready before 4:30PM. I also do not get home until almost 1AM and getting ready for bed means I would not have slept until 2-3AM. Secondly I only stated I would be able to let her use my basement, NOT supply her with lights or a camera OR a photographer. In which she only was able to accomplish in getting a friend to shoot photos, and gets me to get her lights and use my DSLR. I'm sorry in the real world if you manage a shoot, someone else will NOT do all the work for you and gather all your tools, and they will also NOT freely accommodate to when you are available every single time.

The point is, I was neither credited for my work on her blog nor was i even officially at first written in as a member of the team having to add my own name after the shoot. Although I did supply most of the tools and did most of the final works of editing. That in itself is a horrible feeling and the breaking point was discovering all my work being deleted/erased by someone else without my permission. That is the equivalent of stealing someone else's artwork and claiming it for yourself and erasing traces of it belonging to them. It hit a nerve when she even asked if I needed the photos, of course I HAVE the photos I was the one who edited them all! I also have the PSD files saved with all my layers of work done.

Rant ending. I feel like i've been cheated out of the work I have done and the tipping point was to have to find out all my photos were deleted as well off my folder. I am now not going to finish editing the rest of the photos for her because the nerve of people having to bug me about work I optionally did, nor was i commissioned or even credited for pisses me off. I was doing her a favour and being friendly but I do not take kindly to those who not only lie to me but use me without a proper thanks or consideration of my well being do not deserve my help at all.
But that's because i've been juggling multiple things at once (and honestly it makes my focus and my energy plummet downhill). I have one last exam tomorrow and then i'll be working the rest of the week :(! I honestly don't know how people can run a blog and work at the same time! The amount of time it takes me to edit photos (because i'm a perfectionist) and write a blog just takes up a good 2 hours at least.

I work till midnight and that leaves me little time to do any of these things: 1. get up earlier with an abundance of energy to write a blog 2. write a blog between the time i get home and go to sleep (showers and all that) 3. I still have other priorities while my father is on a business trip my mother leaves me 99% of the time to: drive my sister to classes, grocery shop, clean, cook dinner/lunch.

I know it's a lot of excuses and I still haven't had time (more so energy really) to edit the rest of my photos from the photoshoot! That'll be my next priority before I start backtracking to my other posts I planned to do.

I'll hopefully be able to make a post too about my trip coming up in May to NYC! I luckily got tickets to see B.A.P. on the Verizon APHAM: B.A.P. Live on EARTH tour. So i'll try to get some pictures and a summary of all the places i went to eat... Because I'm a foodie!

Hopefully this is my last post about delaying the rest of my upcoming blogposts -_-' and thanks to all 8 followers of my blog sticking around :)Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11710516977972395440noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494756709270097925.post-33599321355799562882013-04-02T19:49:00.000-04:002013-06-10T02:11:04.188-04:00Fashion Creative PhotoshootLast week on Friday I helped out a friend with a shoot for her fashion creative at my house. I've just finished most of the photos I needed to have done so i'm going to put them up here for you all to see! I worked on the hair and edited the photo. The backdrop and lighting was from my house basement :) This was shot with my Canon Rebel XSi and with 530 Xii flash with a diffuser on. Later when i have time i'll get around to posting the behind the scenes photos as well!
I've been busy ish... (my excuse for watching dramas all day long) I'll be back to updating within a week or so. Started my new job today & I have one more essay to write before finals due next week :) I'll have time to edit up my next posts within a week/week and half! And hello to all my new followers thanks for sticking around :DAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11710516977972395440noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494756709270097925.post-47773719374720570962013-02-28T23:01:00.000-05:002013-02-28T23:01:09.812-05:00Aloha Hawaii! I thought i'd also share this video from my vacation to Hawaii in Dec 2011-Jan 2012!
Was done for an assignment at school but also so i'd remember the places i had been. Only thing missing is any footage from my surfing lesson in Kailua... and that was amazing! Sad i didn't have gopro or anything on me to film it! (even if my father endorses that company in Canada hahaha)
I'll be going through some future plans (that MIGHT happen!), some music i've been listening to today (lots of electronic dance music, it puts me in a mood i can't explain) and just a little update on posts to expect.

I'm super excited about this because my parents totally approve of this plan, but I discovered a pretty awesome site that is legitimate (of course) that help set up internships in Australia! I've always wanted to visit there and my classes officially end April 8th + 2 exam weeks so it means I have from May till August to try and make use of!

It's a minimum of 3 months for interning and I was looking to PR, event management, online marketing or fashion because those are all fields related to communications. I like a job with more flexibility and isn't very slow paced or just boring cubicle like so having to get to work in a field with always changing jobs is very me! If it all works out I will definitely either be in 1. sydney 2. Gold Coast (because even though it is "winter" it is no where as cold as Canada I am DYING to go surfing!) 3. Brisbane or Melbourne I'm more interested in major cities but still close to the coast for surfing :) and being there 3 months definitely gives me lots of opportunities to pick up more surfing!

Really, who would NOT love to try surfing even once? (Maybe i'm just in love with sports that are thrilling)

Original here

Original here

Hopefully it all works out and I can pay for it. Spending less money on a school (I mean Western University would be 20k a year I'm paying 7k at York + i get a scholarship!) means I get to use it towards more world travels! I do admit I'm a girl who is consumed by travelling, "wanderlust".

If any of my readers are also interested http://www.sydneyinternships.com.au is the site I am talking about! No sponsored ad or anything, just something I found through facebook.

Next is MUSIC! If anyone knows me, knows I adore music. But really who doesn't love listening to music? I'm open to all sorts of music but not everything is something I will listen to again if i'm not too in love with it. I love my Kpop but i also really enjoy electronic music and dubstep. Here's some songs i've been listening to today that just really mellows you out or gets you really pumped (like in a club)!

It's in.... PLAYLISTTTT MODEEEEEE! so you can read or do other things while you listen!

Lastly a little update on what might be coming in the future:

when my skin heals better i may do some product reviews... but i recently completely scratched my eyelid and it's still bright red :( so you'll have to wait! I'll be finishing up some incomplete photo edits before I blog more but expect lots of hauls and clothes hauls (because I do too much of that)

I may be starting a job soon too but i'll try to keep up with my posts... There is only one more month of school so I'm not too worried!

Hope everyone somehow managed to read till the end! I look for feedback always so please leave comments.

'till next time i'll be off to my second final essay of the year :)

OH! p.s. who else is super excited for Game of Thrones Season 3 to return? Because I am so ecstatic about it returning so soon!

here's the trailer for you all :D

This is a little late, but it was a small order I made with Hautelook. If you don't know what hautelook is, it's basically a site where more "prominent" recognized brands sell things for a good 30-70% discount. Depending on the company. There's lots of clothes, shoes and makeup. Some of the reoccurring brands recently are Orly(nail polishes), Crown Brush, Urban Decay. The deals aren't as great as the past when i first started purchasing but you can find very reasonable deals. They are also owned by Nordstrom now. (Many of the brands are the ones you find at Nordstrom as well)
Click here if you'd like to join
I only make purchases if the costs + shipping + taxes are worth it because there is a small extra fee for shipping to Canada. However usually that depends on what you're purchasing but it's minimal!

I bought a pair of leopard studded loafers: check them out down below!

I bought: Color Brilliance by Ion in Dark Brown, Queen Helene's Mint Julep natural facial scrub, Salon Care 20 volume, Mystic divine Shampoo + oil treatment and an Ion Small Ceramic round boar bristle brush. The ORLY sweet peacock polish was free for a special :) I will link everything below if you'd like to purchase them for yourself!
(I will make a more detailed post later on tips on dying hair yourself in achieving perfect coverage!) I dyed my faded hair a dark brown this weekend and now i already want to lighten it to a red brown again! :( or a chocolate brown, but Ion doesn't carry a colour chocolate enough for me.

A quick update of the last few weeks boring events through my instagram photos(clearly because i'm too lazy to edit my camera photos yet...) Some of these will have more detailed posts later! (cough nails cough)
There was a special happening during the month of November where ever week or so they had items special for 1$ (not including Shipping) for overseas buyers! There were about 4-6 different items depending on the week and this went on for all of November. I personally thought it was a great deal even with shipping to Canada so I bought two things that I liked in the first week! p.s. I also fixed my edited photo quality issues now! I forgot to set my resolution to 300 whenever I resized =-=" Please ignore the very bolded logo... :$

I received my package about 1 1/2 weeks after? I can't remember haha. But it was fast enough :)

(I actually had no idea they were part of Ebay now)

The total costs for two items with shipping was about 16$ CAD. I ordered a G-Dragon One of A Kind Album and The Saem Snail Hand Trio Cream in No.2 Lily.

I will do a review later on :) This is my first The Saem product I've bought.

Inside it comes with these cards the size of the album instead of a photo booklet.

The album was beautifully designed and although this is not my first YG album I've bought, this is my first GD album. It's very interesting design and different from your typical KPOP CD. Overall worth the 1$ I paid for it :D!

I'll be back soon after exams with another two posts on my G-Market hauls~Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11710516977972395440noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494756709270097925.post-82587092901525596412012-11-30T00:08:00.001-05:002012-12-16T08:50:48.553-05:00Shopping Online/in Store for the Kpop Fan This post is quite overdue, since i'm an incredibly lazy blogger... Which I apologize for. Before I begin writing about my lengthy month and half trip in Hong Kong and the events there I'll talk about shopping online specifically the sites(or places) I've bought from and what I have bought related to kpop merchandise.

I'll also give some tips on shopping online and where is best to buy(based on my own experience of course!) And no I am not sponsored in any way by these companies, if i ever do get sponsored I will put a disclaimer.

A quick summary of the site/place ordered from will be given and a score as well. Each will be given a score out of 5 from the following: service, delivery time, cost and overall comments & ratings.

G-Market

G-Market is a korea based site, similar to Ebay but the Korean version of it. There are many sellers on the site each with their own "shops" and listings. Provided if you live in Korea you can directly have items shipped from the seller to you, but there are many overseas buyers and G-Market deals mainly with these customers. They have a warehouse where sellers ship the items to and package it together, weigh and EMS out to almost anywhere worldwide.
Service
★★★★☆ 4/5
Most sellers do not speak English so G-Market does provide online chat service for translations and have a way of contacting them directly with other questions. Most were prompt and tried their best to answer my questions in English. G-Market usually has good service although I do know many people have encountered problems with unresolved issues. However, that is a minority and I have yet to encounter problems with ordering.
Delivery Time
★★★★☆ 4/5
Because G-Market does not deal directly with sellers, you must inquire sellers if your item has not been shipped to the warehouse yet. 90% of sellers are quick and efficient with shipping but there is a small percent that take FOREVER to ship. I only encounter this problem when I buy clothes but KPOP merchandise I buy usually from Synnara or Hot Tracks any official seller and don't encounter problems.
Cost
★★★☆☆ 3.5/5
(Because I don't have a half star...) Cost varies with G-Market. Because they use EMS shipping it arrives much faster but it also costs a lot more. Shipping costs are also dependent by country and determined by weight. I mainly ship to Hong Kong in bulk order because my parents travel back often and can pick it up, and the shipping is half of what it is to Canada. If you plan to buy from G-Market make it a bulk order to save on costs.
Overall
★★★★☆ 4/5
I am content with G-Market and I do know for sure when I buy my kpop products off Synnara it counts toward Hanteo Charts. The costs vary and shipping is sometimes pricey but if you feel the need to be reassured that your purchase counts, g-market is definitely a go to place for your merchandise.
Kpop Town is your typical foreign korean online site. By foreign I mean they cater to overseas shoppers. They also are located in Korea and state they count towards Hanteo Charts but that isn't 100% confirmed. They sell CDS, DVDS, kpop Merchandise Official and Unofficial, Kpop star clothes(Pancoat...), a limited selection of korean skincare products and have recently expanded to circle lenses and food products.
Service
★★★★★ 5/5
No complaints, they notify you when they ship and everything goes smoothly. There is seldom need to contact them directly(from my experience)/
Delivery Time
★★★★☆ 4/5
You have options for shipping and thats the regular standard mail or the Priority mail, each have different costs because of their speed. Usually I pick standard mail and it gets to Canada within 1 month.
Cost
★★★★☆ 4/5
For people only purchasing a cd or one item, this is probably most cost efficient because shipping is also calculated by weight. Usually a CD for me costs about 5$ shipping regular mail. They also have a loyalty points system which you can exchange the points for a credit to use for your purchase. (But systems like this always keep you coming back to buy more to use your points)
Overall
★★★★☆ 4/5
Kpop Town is a site I mainly use because the shipping is cheaper than say a competing site like Kpop Mart even if Kpop Mart lists cheaper starting prices. This is probably one of the best places an overseas kpop fan can get their merchandise.

CD Japan

A site focused on J-pop, J-Rock, Anime, Manga, and certain Japanese branded clothes. Located in Japan as well and have been around for a very long time. There isn't much to say aside from the fact it caters to fans of Japanese culture. They're also a legitimate seller and have special gifts from time to time with purchases.
Service
★★★★★ 5/5
I haven't had direct contact with the service but they have a well kept system and I have not run in to any problems for the most part. I ordered a set of 5 shirts in the past and got custom fees(which were like 20$ -_-) but that has nothing to do with the sites service.
Delivery Time
★★★★☆ 4/5
Delivery time is pretty accurate and they offer a variety of options from sea, to airmail and priority options. I used the cheapest option when I bought my CD and it arrived about the same estimated time as it stated it would.
Cost
★★★☆☆ 3/5
Because Yen is usually more costly when going through the exchange rates to my currency it is more pricey than buying in won. The only reason I purchased my CD from here was because I had a 300YEN coupon i have not used for the last 4 years and it had a very high chance of Sungkyu cards :D!
Overall
★★★★☆ 4/5
If you're going to order specific Japanese editions of your favourite kpop idols CDS it may be a good source especially seeing as it is an official seller (so for example when Infinite released She's Back JP they had all the sungkyu photocards). Otherwise they do have Kpop albums on there but I suggest not to buy unless you live in Japan.

Store Bought

Technically I can't give you a score for this but I have bought many of my albums in person at a physical store. But here I'll compile where I have bought these albums.
Bought in Pacific Mall's Broadcast
- you can find this store on the first floor by one of the entrances
☆Super Junior CDs(all three)
☆HUG - DBSK
Bought at HMV
☆BoA
Bought in Korea
- I found music stores in malls like a mall Hyundai owned. You can find small music stores and official stores like Hot Tracks anywhere in Korea so search up the closest one if you ever visit (I visited in 2009)
☆2:00PM Time for Change - 2PM
☆2NE1
☆Romeo - Shinee
☆The Secret Code - Tohoshinki
☆Keyword - Tohoshinki
☆Stand By U - Tohoshinki
☆The 3rd Asia Tour Concert Mirotic in Seoul - DBSK (CD and DVD)
☆All about DBSK Season 3
☆Cross & Change - F.T Island
Bought in Hong Kong
- In Mong Kok, Langham Place there is a store called CD warehouse(I think) at the very top of the building. Go up the longest escalator on the 8th floor(I think LOL) and you'll see it to your right!
☆Hands Up - 2PM

Ebay & others

This is for other sellers that do not have a specific shop. I bought my mirotic ver A from a seller on live journal(who i don't have any memory is) but my Infinite photo cards are from seller GrapeMusicCD and they have many kpop merchandise in stock all the time. the service is great and costs are an in-between(but if like when I bought my photo cards they were sold out elsewhere they seem to always have products in stock). I have only bought from them once so I can't give any clear feedback! However they have a feedback score of 99.9% so they're a trustworthy seller.

Sold by the Company

The last section is CDs i have bought that were directly from the company. And of course there is no way to score these with a rating but here are some tips on getting reasonably priced signed CDs!
☆Teen Top CDs were sold (every single album released) signed when they came to Toronto to perform. There were limited quantities and so everyone went crazy for them after the concert(luckily I got one haha) they sold for 20$ so see if they sell anything at KPOP events especially when the group actually comes.
☆B.A.P. No Mercy CDs were sold by TS Entertainment themselves for foreign fans. They had a very extensive list for locations they shipped to and I happened to be in Hong Kong at the time so I was able to buy all 5(the limit) I do intend to sell these later but only to those interested in paying more.(comes with the poster)
☆KPOP Mart does sell signed CDs and i believe they are legitimate. But they sell them most 90$< (the B.A.P goes for 95.90$ not including shipping)
☆SOOMPI Shop sells special autographed CDS in limited quantities and have a different artist every few weeks. These are definitely legitimate directly provided by the company. They also cost reasonably!
☆GURUPOP hosts a TON of events where you promote and get as many clicks to win special items and signed CDS/Items. There is no guarantee but it comes free if you do successfully win :)!

I hope this post helps you guys with where to get merchandise and the best places to get them!
At the moment you are in high school and getting closer to graduation the feeling of a need and rush to get out is what most of us feel right? But the moment we enter university and into the second half of our life we immediately want to return back to being careless teenagers in high school.
People say that High School = some of the best years of your life and some people also say university/college = best 4 years of your life. Reality is the best years of your life aren't really confined to these standards and it is truthfully what we choose to make of it, or what we have gained and experienced from it. I am writing this post now as I am now going to be graduating in the class of 2012 and from the last 4 years, rather than the best years it has been a more bitter and more depressingly disappointing year, one after the other.
What I've learned is not everything is always so pleasant and not everyone is going to give shit about you the moment you are irrelevant. Once you're out you become semi-invisible or just non-existent half the time to some people, whether it's a fact they realize it or not. It's like reality in high school is the same as the real world, just on a much smaller scale. People are selfish by nature and you know what, they want what is to their benefit over what is to others first. You may say, "why are you complaining? IS it not your own fault for not trying to keep close with friends?" "Well aren't you selfish too?" "How can you be so negative about this when it's not like you're trying to make things better?" Why not complain? It's a fact and I'm complaining cause it's true, my complaints do nothing but it does address the issue doesn't it? Is it my fault when I try to I'm still irrelevant so why waste the time to put in effort to something that would just make me upset in the end? I am a selfish person, why else would i write about this? I'm negative in this post but it's just my personal experience.
I have found myself drifting away from a lot of former friends and really it's to the point I don't know if I should be able to even speak of private matters openly without being worried of it being accidentally mentioned to others. Every year it feels like I drift a bit more and now all I want to do is leave high school and find people I can really connect with again. The only thing I have gained is that no matter what your family can probably be your best friend whenever you need them, because they'll always be there for you. And strangely enough as I am saying that, I have had problems with my family before and have also been openly criticized for my relationship with my mother by friends as well.
Some people aren't as lucky as I am to have been able to build an open relationship and a very casual friendly kind of relationship with my family. We are able to communicate without hesitation to each other and openly talk about anything, I can even criticize my mother and she would not find it rude as she does the same to me all the time. I rebuttal against her and argue against her statements and she does the same to me. We piss each other off all the time but we are close in that sense. I've been told to appreciate her more and people feel that my relationship with my mother comes off as "bad". I respect my parents for letting me live an above average life and being open with me as much as I am with them. I don't lie to them anymore, nor do I have to, I don't feel scared about telling them what I want in my life and what I do in my life. I mean I told my mother we were going to be drinking at after prom and I might not even come back till early morning if I couldn't get a cab back and if people were too wasted. I don't see how having a friendship with your parents can be viewed as not appreciating them or that you lack love for your family because of that. I love and hate them. I get pissed at them at vent and swear/ lash out but I can still maintain a good relationship.
I am getting off topic a bit but I wanted to talk about the reality of high school and the reality of the people around you then. Maybe you get lucky and find really amazing people who you're super close to but for me I only have one or two I feel I can be close to still after 4 years. As depressing as I sound, it's the truth from my point of view, maybe some of you disagree with that and still believe I'm just pushing people out. Nope, I'm just not making the effort anymore to try and keep people around me and even trying to "catch up" with others. People who want to be relevant in my future will make sure to do so, and I will return that effort. People who don't care just won't be there and I won't care for them much either. I am already feeling quite invisible in these peoples lives so why must I have to push myself to become visible to them when they can't see me in their eyes already? They don't want to so I shall not make the effort to do so.
I will tell you guys this, high school should be an experience where you really do grow up a lot from where you started. It will amaze you when you look back from the last 4 years and see how much you have changed, from attitude to maturity. I may be immature at times still but I feel like my interests have grown much bigger than just gossiping and requiring people around me to feel happy.
Last night after dinner I went to watch the movie with a friend at 10:30pm. Exhausting to watch a 2 and half hour movie in the middle of the night... I have personally read the book myself and really enjoyed it, finishing it in a day. It provided a whole new aspect of the world, something that is realistic in the sense it is always possible to end up in a state like Panem.

As I watched the movie I noticed they altered certain aspects of detail, which I didn't really mind because it was a movie. But what I didn't like was the fact some of the things they took out or changed or completely cut out of the movie made the movie lack in terms of a smooth storyline. It made it hard for people to actually understand the movie unless they
1. really payed attention the whole 2 hours

2. read the book previously

3. able to interpret things on their own

Now the movie was very visually appealing and the amazing amount of extras was mind-blowing to me. It did tell for the most part what the story was about, but it really lacked appeal in terms of conversation and plot line. It took out a lot more of the idea of "star-crossed lovers" which is very key in the novel. It also really removed the connections between the characters, only really focusing on Katniss and her world and decision, not really her relationships with others, something that i found really important in terms of the novel. The movie ran in a fast paced environment without much explanations and that was what really disappointed me. I enjoyed the actors and actresses because they played their part well. Jennifer Lawrence definitely had the perfect personality and acting to go with the character Katniss, she exuded the charms of Katniss with her acting and definitely can't wait to see more of her. (I liked her in x-men as well haha)

On to the next point of my post! As someone who really loves fashion, and loves affordable fashion I was inspired by the outfits in the movie. I love the down to earth, huntress kind of look Katniss Everdeen had, with the braids, wavy hair and not too feminine style of clothing. It's a style anyone can interpret back into their day to day clothes and with spring coming the weather is perfect to try this style out when you're out and about. So i'll show you multiple pieces that i've found and put together of ways you can dress up in the same style!
Some inspiration for those who love Katniss's style just as much as I do. Keep the accessories minimal with maybe some bracelets and a simple necklace to match. For Bags, try to go for earth tones and canvas/cloth material with hobo bags, bucket bags, messenger bags or a slouchy backpack. Just braid or crimp your hair and you're ready to go!
Hopefully some of you enjoyed this post ^-^Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11710516977972395440noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494756709270097925.post-80872961701485378752012-03-30T15:38:00.005-04:002012-03-30T15:43:41.893-04:00Crossing the lineI’ve been thinking so much about the future and really where I want to go with it. There are so many things I want to do and people I definitely must meet and places I must live in. I don’t feel like someone who should stay put in my own little town and wander aimlessly, I want to aim for the best and biggest goals I can see. Regardless of how “impossible” it may seem to people. I know a lot of people around me don’t even know what to do with their lives, but then again think about the things you’re so passionate about and the things you truly love. What do you want to do for yourself and the world? What kind of role do you want to play? What kinds of jobs have you ever thought of aspiring to be? There are actually so many options laid out right in front of you but you’re thinking too hard and just miss it. I want a life where I can live freely doing the job i enjoy and love. I don’t want to be holed up in a cubical somewhere regretting not taking clear look at what I could’ve done. Don’t stress, don’t worry to much, focus on the things you strive for and take a look at what you’ve already been doing and what you want to accomplish.
On a side note; I’ve been working very hard to keep as CLEAN of a diet as I can drinking more water and less sodium in my diet, unhealthy foods etc (i’ll give myself a few freebies every month :D) I have also been working out as often as I can. I hope to drop around 10lbs in 2-3months! for prom and for a nicer fit body :P. My life is taking a turn and I’m going to be working twice as hard towards the things I want! I can’t wait for summertime though truthfully haha.

So i’m going to ask;

What kind of goals do you have? Where do you want to go? What kinds of things are you passionate about? and What have you been doing to achieve these goals?

on a side note All Canadian Directioners(? is that what we call you haha) or One Direction fans HMV right at this moment has a limited amount of signed One Direction t-shirts at Fairview Mall So go pick them up now!

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11710516977972395440noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494756709270097925.post-64824517129585017392012-03-29T16:27:00.004-04:002012-03-29T16:40:49.002-04:00I haven't posted in awhileBecause I have always found Tumblr to be overwhelmingly easier because It requires a whole lot less work in terms of running a blog and the interface allows me to basically reblog all day and gain followers with the same interests It was so hard to even come back to this blogspot blog. I started my own little separate blog on tumblr with more personally thoughts but to no avail would it ever gather serious interest. So today I'm going to be posting my first post i posted on that blog which i named "deucedly me" the life of a perspicacious girl. Big words I know. But interesting post for those interested perhaps ^-^

While deciding what to name my blog I thought about using my own name at first, but personally that felt kind of bland… flavourless and plain. So going on dictionary.com (I don’t know if that sounds lame or not) I decided to use the word of the day Deucedly. And might you ask what this word even means? You probably haven’t heard of it and I haven’t either till now… In gist it means insanely, devilishly, madly, deadly etc etc used in contextDeucedly Clever. Kind of defines where I currently see myself stand, and an interesting term to use over typical words we use daily.

Onto an actual topic I’ve been thinking about lately, (hopefully that little paragraph did not bore you too much) defining ourselves, our character, our personality and what it means to be called an individual. Before the person with friends, family, peers, what are we? I mean it’s quite obvious that we are ourselves and our own person but how much of that do we really show and how much of that do we choose to portray. Do we act and pretend or do we really take on and face who we are, what we want to be, where we want to go and just about anything else that we ourselves wish to be? I recently had a long conversation one night with a friend and how they struggle with being true to themselves, too stubborn to let go of things to do what they want and find happiness for themselves first.

I think this past half year I’ve truly discovered and learned to understand and define who I am. Not what people want me to be or what people think of me as, because things like that don’t really matter. I don’t act and put up a front to anyone and stay true to my feelings, regardless of things i tell or don’t tell to people. I really hate having to see people act and pretend their way through life because they don’t understand how much more people will come to appreciate them for who they are. You may gain new friends and you may lose some old ones but that just shows who will stay and who only stuck around for now. We lose focus of our goals because of all these obstacles and excuses we use “because my parents are against it” respect your parents but at the same time they should respect you, “because my friends may judge me for it” it is your choice(in which i hope is a good choice) but no one has a right to judge you before they have even tried to look at themselves, “because the person i love i may lose cause of this” aside from cheating your life choices should be respected and if its a mutual love it should be communicated to a mutual understanding. No matter how tough it is to get through to these people, at the end of the day it is your life and in the next 20 to 30 years you are going to be living it not the people around you. I felt like getting this idea across of how i have found learning about yourself first and your needs and goals is so important before anyone else’s goal for you.

It is true that if you can not love yourself, how can you love someone else? If you can not be happy on your own as an individual, how can you make someone else happy together? If you do not understand yourself the least bit, how can you even try to understand someone else?
Hopefully some of you have read this far and maybe this post will give you something to think about!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
This is ramen from Japan while i visited last summer... c:Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11710516977972395440noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494756709270097925.post-91967484977407541682011-12-07T20:17:00.000-05:002011-12-19T20:18:16.070-05:00The Past WeekI've been procrastinating like crazy!!! I just can't help it... But I'll finish my outline tonight for English and all that :( This past week has been so hectic and it's only Wednesday... (end of the week please come soon!!) I've been feeling like this year has really made me grow up and realize a bunch of things. Life isn't easy and we shouldn't always be focused on the things that just aren't important as of this moment! We also shouldn't look to please everybody else and learn to appreciate ourselves first. Learn to take our own responsibilities, not look down upon others so critically without taking a look at ourselves
"And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother's eye."
Luke 6:41-42 NKJV
This is a quote from the bible that i remember hearing once before at service one morning. I truthfully hate gossip and I really do hate judgemental people disliking and criticizing everything someone does. Sure they may be annoying but have you thought about yourself and your actions? Is it not SELFISH to say what that person is doing is hateful to you while as what you might be doing is just as wrong to another? We are all hypocrites but I feel so enraged by the gossip that comes out of the mouths of people and hate in someones eyes when they look at people they don't like.I've been feeling like people can't change others without looking at themselves and changing that first.
It's tiring to see people act this way. I know myself I too have my faults and my hypocrisy but seeing how horrible it can be and how ugly and disgusting these traits are I don't want to be that. On a side note I've been sick for a month. I really want to pass out everyday and just not care -_-' please get me better immune system...
I'll be off to homework now~
But here's a new picture :@ It'll be what i'm submitting for Soompi's ulzzang contest round 3... I hopefully will make it to the next round and PRAY i'll make it to top 8 :) I've been taking new photos every round and putting my full effort so I hope everyone votes for me!!
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11710516977972395440noreply@blogger.com0
